賈里德·斯皮爾斯就讀於[[伊利諾伊州]]迪卡爾布的[[北伊利諾大學]]，並獲得了教育，商務技術的科學學士學位。賈里德·斯皮爾斯曾在[[芝加哥]]的[[大都會音樂學院]]學習敲擊樂及作曲，在那裡他獲得了音樂學士及碩士學位。然後，他在芝加哥[[西北大學]]學習，並獲得博士學位。
