[[Seighford]] is a [[civil parish]] in the [[Borough of Stafford]], [[Staffordshire]], England. It contains 21 [[Listed building#England and Wales|listed buildings]] that are recorded in the [[National Heritage List for England]]. Of these, two are at Grade II*, the middle of the three grades, and the others are at Grade II, the lowest grade. The parish contains the villages of Seighford, [[Derrington]], and [[Great Bridgeford]] and the surrounding area. Most of the listed buildings are houses, cottages and associated structures, farmhouses and farm buildings, and a high proportion of these are [[timber framed]] or have a timber framed core. The other listed buildings consist of a church, a headstone in the churchyard, a public house, a bridge, and two mileposts.

Das Frühlingfest in [[Otterberg]] ist eine Tradition, das Mitte des 18.Jahunderts entstand und im zweijährigen Turnis ( ungerade Jahre ) gefeiert wird.

== Geschichte ==
Das Fest entstand im 19 Jahrhundert (1825). Früher war es ein Kinder und Volksfest in der Schule von Georg Jakob Roller.
1930 bis 1931 kam das Geregelte und das Fest fand alle 2 Jahre statt. Ab 1895 gab es dann auch Programme, die den Ablauf angaben.
Das feste Schema war:
* Böllerschießen ( 12.30 Uhr )
* Festzug in den Wald in genau festgelegter Ordnung
* Eröffnung
* Vorführungen der Schulen mit anschießender Brezelverteilung
* Beiträge der Otterberger Vereine
* Rückmarsch um 19 Uhr
* Ende Hoch au den König bzw Prinzregenten vor dem Rathaus
1927 -1939
Durch den krieg und der Nachkriegszeit gab es einige Jahre kein Frühlingsfest.. Erst im Jahre 1927 fand es wieder statt.
1933
Verkehrsvereinübernahme die Finanzierung des festes, anstelle der Stadt selbst..
Die Bedingung dazu war die Verlegung auf Sonntag. Das Bürgermeisteramt stimmt zu , verharrte aber auf den Charakter eines Schulfestes.
Dadurch gab es einige Vorteile, am Vorabend entstand ein Heimatabend nun. Ab und zu bekamen auch die Otterberger Arbeiter frei an diesem Tag.
1952-1978
Das erste Fest nach dem Krieg
Seit diesem Zeitpunkt findet das fest regelmäßig statt alle 2 Jahre
1981 bis heute
Wegen der 400 Jahrfeier der Stadt Otterberg, wurde das Frühlingsfest in ein ungerades Jahr verlegt
2001
Otterberg krönt nun eine Frühlingskönigin, diese wird Samstag am Heimatabend gekrönt.

Holland wurde in [[Knutsford]] als Sohn des Arztes Peter Holland (1766–1853) und Mary Willets geboren; seine Cousine war die namhafte Schriftstellerin [[Elizabeth Gaskell]] (1810–1865).<ref></ref> In seiner Jugend lernte er auch [[Charles Darwin]] kennen, da beide (über Henry's Mutter, einer Nichte von [[Josiah Wedgwood (Unternehmer, 1730)|Josiah Wedgwood]]) miteinander verwandt waren; mit ihm hielt er eine lebenslange Freundschaft aufrecht.
Seine Schuldbildung erhielt Holland zuerst in [[Newcastle upon Tyne]], dann (ab 1803) in [[Bristol]].<ref name=":0">Thornber, "[https://ift.tt/2Clb9VR Sir Henry Holland]".</ref> Ab Oktober 1806 studierte er Medizin an der [[The University of Edinburgh|University of Edinburgh]], deren renommierte medizinische Fakultät damals zahlreiche Studenten aus England anzog. Im Herbst 1811 schloss er sein Studium ab. In diesem Jahr hatte er es bereits zu einer Mitgliedschaft in der ''[[Royal Medical Society of Edinburgh]]'' und zu einer Ehrenmitgliedschaft in der kurz zuvor in London gegründeten ''[[Geological Society of London|Geological Society]]'' gebracht, und im Jahr 1816 wurde er in die ''[[Royal Society|Royal Society of London for Improving Natural Knowledge]]'' (kurz: ''Royal Society'') aufgenommen.
Er wurde bald ein bekannter Arzt und zählte viele Personen aus dem Hochadel, und schließlich auch aus dem britischen Königshaus, zu seinen Patienten, namentlich Königin Caroline, [[Wilhelm IV. (Vereinigtes Königreich)|Wilhelm IV.]] und [[Victoria (Vereinigtes Königreich)|Königin Viktoria]]. Zu den [[Peer (Adel)|Peers]], die Holland früh in seiner Karriere kennenlernte, gehörten u.a. Im Alter von 34 Jahren heiratete er die sieben Jahre jüngere Margaret Emma Caldwell (1795–1830); das Paar hatte vier Kinder, zwei Söhne und zwei Töchter. Nach dem frühen Tod seiner ersten Frau ehelichte Holland im Jahr 1834 Saba Smith (1802–1866), die Tochter des bekannten Klerikers und Humoristen Sydney Smith (1771–1845). Aus dieser zweiten Ehe gingen zwei Töchter hervor, Caroline und Gertrude.

== Reisen ==
Hollands Nachruhm beruht im wesentlichen auf seinen Reisen und insbesondere auf einem Reisebericht, der zuerst 1815 erschien. Noch vor seinem Studium soll Holland den Wunsch geäußert haben, Kaufmann zu werden, weil er sich davon ein Leben auf Reisen versprach. Tatsächlich ging er 1804–1805 für eine kurze Zeit bei einem Kaufmann in Liverpool in die Lehre – trotz der geringen Begeisterung seines Vaters über diese Berufswahl –, doch im Jahr 1806 entschied er sich für ein Medizinstudium.<ref name=":0" /> Aber sein Wunsch, in seinem Leben viele Reisen zu machen, sollte sich dennoch erfüllen.
Holland besuchte im Lauf seines langen Lebens Island und die Faröer-Inseln (1810),<ref>Der Bericht über diese Reise wurde von Sir George Steuart Mackenzie geschrieben: ''[https://ift.tt/2rhDx8S Travels in the Island of Iceland, During the Summer of the Year MDCCCX]''. Im Januar 1816 begann Holland seine Karriere als niedergelassener Arzt in London,<ref>Holland, ''Recollections'' (1872), S. 151.</ref> und im Jahr 1820 bezog er das Haus in der Brook Street, das er bis zu seinem Tod bewohnen sollte. Aber seine beruflichen Verpflichtungen hielten ihn nicht davon ab, auch weiterhin viele, zum größten Teil weite und beschwerliche, Reisen zu unternehmen. Einige dieser Reisen unternahm Holland erst in fortgeschrittenem Alter, so etwa nach Marokko im Jahr 1868, nach Jamaika im Jahr 1870 oder (zum zweiten Mal) nach Island im Jahr 1871. Dieser zuerst in einem Band, 1819 dann in zwei Bänden (mit einer Karte) erschiene Reisebericht schildert hauptsächlich die Reisen, die Holland 1812–1813 im östlichen Mittelmeerraum unternommen hat. Das Vorwort ist datiert "Rome, 31st October, 1814". In Griechenland wurde Holland von dem Archäologen [[William Gell]] (1777–1836) und Richard Keppel Craven (1779–1851) begleitet;<ref></ref> Gell selbst schrieb mehrere Bücher über Griechenland, aber keinen eigentlichen Reisebericht über die Tour von 1812.
Tatsächlich enthält Hollands Buch auch ein Kapitel über die Anreise nach Griechenland, welche über Portugal, Sardinien und Sizlien erfolgte. Die Hauptstücke des Berichts behandeln jedoch das nördliche Thessalien, und hier besonders die Person von [[Tepedelenli Ali Pascha|Ali Pascha]], der in [[Ioannina]] (damals ''Yanya'') residierte und mit welchem Holland mehrmals zusammentraf. Ali Pascha, der seit 1807 eine faktisch autonome Herrschaft in den Gebieten des heutigen Nordgriechenlands, Albaniens und Nordmazedoniens aufgebaut hatte, besaß für die damaligen politischen Verhältnisse im [[Osmanisches Reich|Osmanischen Reich]] eine herausragende Bedeutung und war auch eine im westlichen Europa bekannte Gestalt.
Die Weiterreise führte zunächst in den Norden bis nach [[Thessaloniki]], bevor es in den Süden Griechenlands nach [[Delphi]], Attika und Athen ging. Schließlich gelangten Holland und seine Begleiter wieder nach Thessalien und weiter ins nördliche Albanien.

Holland wurde in [[Knutsford]] als Sohn des Arztes Peter Holland (1766–1853) und Mary Willets geboren; seine Cousine war die namhafte Schriftstellerin [[Elizabeth Gaskell]] (1810–1865).<ref></ref> In seiner Jugend lernte er auch [[Charles Darwin]] kennen, da beide (über Henry's Mutter, einer Nichte von [[Josiah Wedgwood (Unternehmer, 1730)|Josiah Wedgwood]]) miteinander verwandt waren; mit ihm hielt er eine lebenslange Freundschaft aufrecht.

Hollands Nachruhm beruht im wesentlichen auf seinen Reisen und insbesondere auf einem Reisebericht, der zuerst 1815 erschien. Noch vor seinem Studium soll Holland den Wunsch geäußert haben, Kaufmann zu werden, weil er sich davon ein Leben auf Reisen versprach. Tatsächlich ging er 1804–1805 für eine kurze Zeit bei einem Kaufmann in Liverpool in die Lehre – trotz der geringen Begeisterung seines Vaters über diese Berufswahl –, doch im Jahr 1806 entschied er sich für ein Medizinstudium.<ref name=":0" /> Aber sein Wunsch, in seinem Leben viele Reisen zu machen, sollte sich dennoch erfüllen.

Dieser zuerst in einem Band, 1819 dann in zwei Bänden (mit einer Karte) erschiene Reisebericht schildert hauptsächlich die Reisen, die Holland 1812–1813 im östlichen Mittelmeerraum unternommen hat. Das Vorwort ist datiert "Rome, 31st October, 1814". In Griechenland wurde Holland von dem Archäologen [[William Gell]] (1777–1836) und Richard Keppel Craven (1779–1851) begleitet;<ref></ref> Gell selbst schrieb mehrere Bücher über Griechenland, aber keinen eigentlichen Reisebericht über die Tour von 1812.
Tatsächlich enthält Hollands Buch auch ein Kapitel über die Anreise nach Griechenland, welche über Portugal, Sardinien und Sizlien erfolgte. Die Hauptstücke des Berichts behandeln jedoch das nördliche Thessalien, und hier besonders die Person von [[Tepedelenli Ali Pascha|Ali Pascha]], der in [[Ioannina]] (damals ''Yanya'') residierte und mit welchem Holland mehrmals zusammentraf. Ali Pascha, der seit 1807 eine faktisch autonome Herrschaft in den Gebieten des heutigen Nordgriechenlands, Albaniens und Nordmazedoniens aufgebaut hatte, besaß für die damaligen politischen Verhältnisse im [[Osmanisches Reich|Osmanischen Reich]] eine herausragende Bedeutung und war auch eine im westlichen Europa bekannte Gestalt.
Die Weiterreise führte zunächst in den Norden bis nach [[Thessaloniki]], bevor es in den Süden Griechenlands nach [[Delphi]], Attika und Athen ging. Schließlich gelangten Holland und seine Begleiter wieder nach Thessalien und weiter ins nördliche Albanien.

Il a pris sa retraite en 1775 en tant que [[Major|commandant]] du régiment de fantassins. Il entra pour la première fois à la [[Chambre des communes du Royaume-Uni|Chambre des communes]] en tant que député de Northampton en 1771. West-Leuer studierte Anglistik, Amerikanistik und Geschichte an der Johannes-Gutenberg-Universität in Mainz und an der [[Lehigh University]] in Bethlehem, Pa. und Philosophie und Psychologie an der [[Johns Hopkins University]] in [[Baltimore]], Md. In Atlanta, Ga. leitete sie als „Director of Instruction" die Fort- und Weiterbildung der Dozenten von Evelyn Wood Reading Dynamics. Als Studienrätin unterrichtete sie Englisch und Gesellschaftslehre mit Geschichte an einer Kollegschule. Sie hat eine gestalttherapeutische und eine anerkannte tiefenpsychologische Ausbildung als Psychotherapeutin. Sie hat eine DGSv anerkannte Fort- und Weiterbildung als Supervisorin und Lehrsupervisorin, eine „Train the Trainer"-Fortbildung als Coach und ist als Senior Coach vom DBVC anerkannt. Sie promovierte an der [[Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg]] zu einem Thema der psychoanalytischen Pädagogik und Gruppendynamik.

Außerdem öffnet sie ihr Haus für Filmprojekte junger Regisseure, so dass beispielsweise der Film „Tomo" über einen humanoiden Hausroboter realisiert werden konnte. Ihr persönliches Anliegen ist ein politisches, das in den unterschiedlichen Veröffentlichungen nachvollziehbar wird: die Unterstützung einer emanzipierten, multinationalen, säkularen Öffentlichkeit.

West-Leuer studierte Anglistik, Amerikanistik und Geschichte an der Johannes-Gutenberg-Universität in Mainz und an der [[Lehigh University]] in Bethlehem, Pa. und Philosophie und Psychologie an der [[Johns Hopkins University]] in [[Baltimore]], Md. In Atlanta, Ga. leitete sie als „Director of Instruction" die Fort- und Weiterbildung der Dozenten von Evelyn Wood Reading Dynamics. Als Studienrätin unterrichtete sie Englisch und Gesellschaftslehre mit Geschichte an einer Kollegschule. Sie hat eine gestalttherapeutische und eine anerkannte tiefenpsychologische Ausbildung als Psychotherapeutin. Sie hat eine DGSv anerkannte Fort- und Weiterbildung als Supervisorin und Lehrsupervisorin, eine „Train the Trainer"-Fortbildung als Coach und ist als Senior Coach vom DBVC anerkannt. Sie promovierte an der [[Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg]] zu einem Thema der psychoanalytischen Pädagogik und Gruppendynamik.
Sie ist freiberuflich in eigener Beratungspraxis tätig und ist Lehrbeauftragte der Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf und Dozentin an der „International Psychoanalytic University. Von 2012 – 2017 war sie Hochschulratsmitglied an der Westfälischen Hochschule.

Als Gründungsmitglied, Vorsitzende und Weiterbildungsleiterin des Lehr- und Forschungsinstituts „Psychodynamische Organisationsentwicklung + Personalmanagement Düsseldorf" (POP) unterstützt, fördert und publiziert West-Leuer Forschungsprojekte zur psychodynamischen Organisationsanalyse und Einzelfalldiagnostik der Weiterbildungsteilnehmer*innen am POP.<ref>www.pop-psa.de</ref> Eigene Forschung bezieht sich auf die Psychoanalyse in ihren Anwendungen. Der Schwerpunkt liegt bei qualitativen Projekten zur Erforschung von Führungsstilen und der Psychodynamische Beratung in Abgrenzung zu anderen Beratungskonzepten und in Abgrenzung zur Therapie. Ergebnisse werden im kollegialen Diskurs überprüft. Neben der Pflicht gibt es auch die Kür im Rahmen der Forschungstätigkeit. Sie besteht aus Dokumentenanalysen, hier Filmanalysen von zeitgenössischen Spielfilmen, die als Objektivationen der [[Psyche]] ihrer Urheber verstanden werden und die als Zeugnisse und als Quelle zur Erklärung menschlichen Verhaltens herangezogen werden.

West-Leuer ist Redakteurin und Mitherausgeberin der „Agora. Düsseldorfer Beiträge zu Psychoanalyse und Gesellschaft". In der Agora werden aktuelle, gesellschaftlich relevante Themen psychoanalytisch beleuchtet und einer breiten Öffentlichkeit zur Verfügung gestellt. Ein aktuelles Schwerpunktthema ist [[Künstliche Intelligenz]] (KI) und der Einfluss auf Beziehungsdynamiken. West-Leuer diskutiert dort Vor- und Nachteile von humanoiden Hausrobotern.
West-Leuer leitet die Kommission „Psychoanalyse und Film" der Akademie für Psychoanalyse und [[Psychosomatik]] in Zusammenarbeit mit dem [[Filmmuseum Düsseldorf]].<ref>https://ift.tt/32iIbQY> Seit 2001 werden in der Black Box, dem Kino im Filmmuseum, Spielfilme vorgestellt, psychoanalytisch interpretiert und mit dem Publikum diskutiert.
=== Öffentlichkeit ===
West-Leuer wird in unregelmäßigen Abständen von unterschiedlichen Medien als Expertin und zu unterschiedlichen Themen angefragt. Das Themenspektrum reicht von einer Interpretation des 10. Gebots ([[Rheinische Post]]) von [[Das 10 Gebote Movie]], bis hin zu Initiationsrituale, Bekenntnisse und den Teufel in US-amerikanischen Serien (WDR 3 u.5). Außerdem öffnet sie ihr Haus für Filmprojekte junger Regisseure, so dass beispielsweise der Film „Tomo" über einen humanoiden Hausroboter realisiert werden konnte. Ihr persönliches Anliegen ist ein politisches, das in den unterschiedlichen Veröffentlichungen nachvollziehbar wird: die Unterstützung einer emanzipierten, multinationalen, säkularen Öffentlichkeit.
