(revised); Pevsner, N. & Harris, J., (1989), ''The Buildings of England: Lincolnshire'', Penguin Books; reissued by Yale University Press, p. 504.</ref> The remainder of the house was demolished and replaced with a substantial structure designed by [[Scorer and Gamble]] and completed in 1932.<ref name=antram/> The new structure was built around two quadrangles.<ref name=antram/> The first phase was the northern facade and quadrangle (which incorporated the original facade) and the second phase was the southern facade and quadrangle which was in a [[Neo-Georgian architecture|Neo-Georgian]] style with brick and innovative concrete dressings.<ref name=antram/> The third phase involved inserting an [[Art Deco]] staircase into Newland House.<ref name=antram/> The Offices were commissioned by [[Lindsey, Lincolnshire|Lindsey County Council]] but, following the implementation of the [[Local Government Act 1972]], the building was transferred to [[Lincolnshire County Council]] in 1974.<ref name=listed/>
